MRTC – COVID-19 Updates

MRTC has implemented COVID-19 guidelines as directed by Fraser Health and informed by the BC Ministry of Health to ensure the safety of all staff and clients.

MRTC has put into effect these guidelines, which will include, but not limited to:

• Enhanced cleaning protocols throughout the day especially for high touch areas
• Increased hand hygiene for both staff and clients
• Staff will be wearing personal protective gear in all client areas
• Increased social distancing of 6 feet/2 meters in all common areas
• Limited group numbers in order to accommodate social distancing practices
• Limiting the number of visits and outings into the community
• Limited on-site visitations and restrictions
• As per the Ministry of Health’s Mask Use in Health Care Facilities During the COVID-19 Pandemic Policy; clients are required to wear a medical mask while in the facility, MRTC will provide
medical masks.
